UKAS Assessment Manager and Asbestos Technical Focus Person
Louise joined UKAS in 2013 and has just celebrated 12 years at UKAS. She is a practising Assessment Manager and is the UKAS Technical Focus Person (TFP) responsible for Asbestos. Her role as TFP sees her work as a main contact within UKAS for asbestos matters and liaising with various stakeholder groups and to ensure UKAS have suitable input from across industry.
Prior to joining UKAS, Louise worked in an accredited company responsible for both quality and technical management across asbestos testing and nspection, under ISO/IEC 17020 & 17025.
This was preceded by onsite experience as an analyst/surveyor having fallen into the world of asbestos after completing a BSc Hons at the University of Huddersfield.
