The following query was received by a Norac Member:

“Please find attached Photographs of the Asbestos (Chrysotile) confirmed partition walls seen within an Office area.

As discussed picture 050 clearly shows the boards being a wooden board with a thin grey coating to both sides. Is there a manufacturing process that did this?

The laboratory has not done a density test but retested to confirm the findings of Chrysotile and said they were Belgian board and classed them as cement.

Can we take this opportunity to see if anyone has seen a similar material before and what they would class them as.”

The response can be seen within the attached document.
