    You can only do a material assessment if you can see the material. Not sure how you normally report presumed ACM, but that was a very odd finding – maybe look at what your procedures say and amend so its a sensible approach. We use non-accessed items or non-accessed locations in our material registers and  executive summaries – we recommend to presume asbestos followed by an appropriate action, but would never complete a material assessment. Was it your assessors’ first day?
