Ah yes Jean, i automatically assumed the reference was to furnace ashing but yes also used the old, ‘lets burn it’ and see what’s left approach. I particularly remember it many years ago at one NATLAS visit where it was a piece of leather and they were waiting to see what we’d do 🙂
