Following on from norac_295121’s post, I surveyed an old manor house around 10 years ago. The house was taken over by the Local Authority after WWII, and contains various representation spaces, as well as (badly) reconfigured office space.
One of the representaion spaces (the main ground floor space) had wood panelled walls almost everywhere, apart from the panels around a door which were AIB lookalikes. Just goes to prove, a cursory glance and tappy-tap won’t always suffice…
