In my view it is not so much the deadline of the 30th May, but the impending release of the long awaited HSG 248. If we knew when this was to be published then it would be reasonable to comment on Lab 30 alongside a gap analysis of HSG 248. Not having both documents to review at the same time does make it more difficult to formulate a response to UKAS. Perhaps we should put this to UKAS and ask for an extension until HSG 248 is released?
