
Joanna began her career in the asbestos industry in 2003, spending nine years as an asbestos consultant and progressing to Technical Manager within a UKAS-accredited organisation. She developed extensive technical expertise delivering asbestos surveys, analytical monitoring, four-stage clearances, auditing, training, and technical support.
Following this, Joanna spent 12 years working in asbestos management within the higher education and healthcare sectors. She served as the designated Responsible Person for one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK, providing strategic oversight and ensuring robust asbestos management systems were in place.
In her current role, Joanna supports a diverse client base with specialist asbestos management advice, drawing on her breadth of experience across consultancy, management, and compliance. She holds a comprehensive range of professional qualifications, including P401, P402, P403, P404, P405, P408, and CoCA.
Joanna is passionate about training and educating others within the industry. She is a committee member of FAAM and is actively involved in professional groups such as the Female Analysts Working Group and the Analysts and Surveyors Working Group.
